The 1960s were a turbulent and exciting time for American art. An era of spiritual freedom and artistic tolerance. Art forms full of challenges and explorations grow, converge and flow here, producing one powerful movement or style of possibility after another. This course will take you through Pop art's absorption of everyday life and consumerism, as well as the rise and inclusiveness of Op art, photography, and more.
